Manicure Monday - Union Jack/British Flag Nails

Hi guys! So once again I did an olympics-themed manicure. I chose to do a union jack on my ring finger just as an accent, but it would also look good with the flag on every nail!

Step 1: Put a white basecoat on every nail where you want a union jack and paint all other nails dark blue.

Step 2: Cut four pieces of tape, 2 a little bit thicker and 2 a little bit thinner. Put the thicker ones in a cross shape on the nail, then place the thinner ones diagonally across them to create the design of the flag.

Step 3: Paint over the tape with dark blue polish, then wait a few seconds and blow on it a bit, then remove the tape gently.





Step 4: Finally, use a striper tool (different options are listed in this post: Cheetah Print Nails) and dip it in red polish and put a thin stripe over each white stripe.
